I have always been interested in art such as sketching and oil painting. I wanted to join the digital art world. Because of this, I decided to learn digital art. I started with pixel art because it was easier to create and understand.
Starting pixel art with no experience was difficult. My first project was very bad because I was just starting. I uploaded it to itchio as a free asset. Some people visited the page, but nobody downloaded it. I felt disappointed, but I decided not to quit.
After that, I created simple animated cats. I set the price to one dollar. I did not expect anything from it. After fifteen days, I checked my page and saw that someone paid five dollars. I was very surprised and thought it was an error. A few days later, another person paid one dollar. That moment motivated me a lot.
Because of this motivation, I started creating more assets. I made more cat animations, animated trees, and other small pixel art assets. After some time, I started earning around fifty dollars per month. This income stayed the same for about two months.
Then something unexpected happened. My income suddenly jumped to 293 dollars. After that, it increased to 350 dollars. Within two months, I reached 1252 dollars. I could not believe the results and felt more motivated than ever.
I continued creating asset packs and improving quality and I uploaded consistently and updated my products. For several months, my income stayed stable between one thousand and one thousand five hundred dollars per month.
Later, I created bigger bundles and added discounts. This strategy worked very well. My income increased again, and I reached two thousand dollars per month. Now I earn more than two thousand dollars every month from pixel art.

My Honest Opinion
This post is written to encourage you. Do not give up if you do not see results at the beginning. Keep putting more effort into your work. Always add new assets and improve your old ones. When you earn fifty dollars in one month, do not think it will stay at fifty dollars. With time and effort, it can always increase. More effort brings more money.
The most important thing is consistency. You must keep creating and uploading. You must not give up. With the right tags and regular updates, your assets can reach more people. With time, you can even appear on the popular list. If I was able to do this, you can do it too
