I recently tested the Prada Lip Balm in Astral Pink. It definitely feels like one of the most luxurious lip balms I have ever owned. I have been using it regularly to see if the quality matches the price here is my honest Prada Lip Balm
Packaging
The packaging of Prada Lip Balm is absolutely stunning. Heavy metal, magnetic, and very luxurious. It feels weighty in the hand and looks premium. Prada really focused on the aesthetic here. And it shows. This is easily one of the best looking lip balms out there. So chic silver case. It is my favorite lipstick case.
Formula & Texture
The prada lip balm itself is quite hard at first. And it melts slowly as you apply it. Once it does, it gives a smooth, hydrating feel on the lips. The texture is rich, not greasy, and comfortable for daily use.
First when i apply it gives shine. When you wait little bit and put more product, color slowly turns pink.
Color & Finish
Prada Lip Balm uses pH reactive technology. So it adds a slight tint depending on your natural lip color. However, the color payoff is very light almost barely there. It gives a healthy, natural sheen but not much visible color. You can put inside your bag and refresh your lips without mirror. First picture i have only one layer of prada lip balm. Last picture i have 3-4 layer. As you see color is about how much you apply.
Price & Value
The biggest downside is the price. It is definitely on the expensive side for a lip balm. While the packaging and experience are high end, the formula does not feel groundbreaking. If you love luxury packaging or collect Prada beauty, it is a beautiful piece to own. but if you want performance, I would recommend waiting for a sale.
Longevity
The hydration lasts a two hours. And it keeps lips comfortable. You will need to reapply after eating or drinking. But it maintains softness well throughout the day.
